Create or Edit Groups

Create Group

Admins can create a group structure for users and then delegate the group to a project leader or a sub-admin. To create a group go to tab and find section on the right then click Create Group button. Choose a name for your group and a project and click .

By default, your group will be Unlocked , thus untagged with projects.

Rename Group

To rename a group go to tab and find section on the right then click on the Three Dots button. Choose a new name for your group and click .

Add Members to Group

To add a member to a group go to tab and find section on the right then click on the appropriate group name. At the top click on Find the user name you would like to add then click .

When you give the Add Members permission to a group member, they automatically become a group manager.

caution

You cannot add members to a tagged project group if you are not a member of the same tagged project.

Add Managers to Group

To add a manager to a group go to tab and find section on the right then click on the appropriate group name. At the top click on Add a New Member. Find the user name you would like to add, select the appropriate permissions and click .

If you select no permissions, the user will be added as a member of the group.

note

You must type in your password before adding a manager to a group.

You cannot add managers to a tagged project group if you are not a member of the same tagged project.

Remove Members/Managers from Group

To remove a member from a group go to tab and find section on the right then click on the appropriate group name. Find the user name you want to remove then select the appropriate permissions and click Remove from Group. Confirm by clicking .

caution

The ability to remove group members is based on given permissions when users are added to the group. We recommend removal permission only to group managers.

You can perform the same action to remove a manager from a group.

Promote Group Managers to Group Owners

To promote a manager from a group go to tab and find section on the right then click on the appropriate group name. Find the user name you want to promote then click Promote to Owner. Confirm by clicking .

Promoting a member/manager to group owner will make you a group member.

Change project in Group

Admins who have group owner role may classify the group to a tagged project. They must be part of the tagged project to be able to perform this action.

Leave a Group

To leave a group go to tab and find section on the right. Select the group you want to leave then click Three Dots. Click Leave Group.

You cannot leave a group if you are the owner of the group. In this case, you may choose to delete the group.
